Website Privacy Policy
This policy describes the website published as The corgi game, operated by THE CORGI GAME LTD. It was last updated on 29 October 2026.
Who we are
THE CORGI GAME LTD (company number 17538343) is the controller for personal data this website actually processes. The registered office is 1st Floor, Unit 5 Thornbury Office Park, Midland Way, Thornbury, Bristol, BS35 2BS, United Kingdom.
A privacy email address has not been configured. The contact form does not deliver messages until an email or a form service is added, so a privacy request cannot be submitted through this site yet. You can still complain to the ICO, as set out below.
Scope
This policy covers the website only: its pages, the contact form, browser storage used by the saved-items list, and technical data created when the site is hosted. It does not cover mobile applications. Those are described on the mobile apps privacy page, and, when an app is configured, on that app’s own policy. The website does not load an app SDK.
There is no customer account and no login on this website.
Contact form
The form asks for your name, email address, a subject, and a message. Those fields are checked in your browser. With the current configuration they are not transmitted to THE CORGI GAME LTD and they are not stored by the website. You will not see a “message sent” confirmation, because nothing is delivered.
An enquiry is a question. It is not an order and it does not create an account.
Saved items
If you save a listing, the browser stores the listing’s identifier in local storage under the key the-corgi-game-saved. The company does not receive that list. It stays on your device until you remove the items or clear the site’s stored data. It is not a cookie, and it is not an account.
Hosting and logs
The site is a static website prepared for Cloudflare Pages. Until it is published, this copy does not by itself create a host log. When it is published on Cloudflare, Cloudflare processes connection data needed to serve the pages and protect them, which can include IP address, user agent, and the time of the request. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The company does not run a separate application server or database for this website. If a different host is used, this section has to be rewritten. The company’s data-processing terms with the host should be confirmed before launch. Cloudflare is a global network, so connection data may be processed outside the United Kingdom under Cloudflare’s own transfer terms.
No analytics product is installed. No advertising tag is installed. Nothing in the site code sends usage statistics to a third party.
Cookies
The site’s own code does not set cookies. Details are on the cookie policy. Because no non-essential tracking is loaded, there is no cookie banner. If analytics or advertising tags are added later, they must stay unloaded until a visitor can accept, reject, or set preferences.
Catalogue
The collection is demonstration content. Browsing it does not place an order. Sample prices are not offers. The company does not receive a record of which demonstration items you opened, beyond ordinary host logs once the site is published.
Why data is used
Where UK data protection law applies, the company expects to rely on the following. This is not a certificate that every regulator has approved the wording.
- Host logs, once the site is published: legitimate interests in delivering and securing the site, carried out by the host.
- Enquiries, if a delivery method is switched on: responding to a question you chose to send, and steps you ask the company to take before any contract.
- Saved items: stored in your browser at your request. The company does not receive them.
Retention
The website does not keep a database of form submissions while delivery is unconfigured. If a form service is added, its retention period must be written into this policy before it is used. Host logs are kept for the period the host applies. Saved items remain until you clear them.
Sharing
The company does not sell personal data from this website. The intended host is the recipient of connection data once the site is online. No analytics or advertising partner is engaged by the website code. A form provider would be a recipient only after one is configured and named here.
Your rights
If UK GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and, where the processing is based on a contract or consent, to receive a portable copy. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
The company cannot receive a privacy email until a contact address is configured. Clearing saved items is something you can do yourself in the browser.
Children
The website is a general retail site. It is not designed for children, and it does not knowingly ask a child for information. The form currently does not transmit what is typed into it.
Changes
Updates will be posted on this page with a new date. The page does not claim that the website is free of every legal duty, and it does not guarantee regulatory approval.
